Agar Plates

Agar plates used for the cultivation of mycelium growth. Agar plates are widely used in the mushroom cultivation community for numerous amounts of reasons. Growing mycelium for study purposes, testing cultures for contamination and keeping genes stored for a fair amount of time before needing to do transfers.

Plates are poured in front of a laminar flow hood. The plates will sit in a clean room for up to a week to make sure no possible contaminates are visible prior to shipping.
