Very beginner friendly. We suggest this species to anybody new getting into the mycology world. From personal experience, this mushroom species does indead “teach” in high doses.

The golden teacher is really the best route to go as a first timer, SD GT’s do not fuck around, very healthy grow and VERY VERY FAST. I inoculated on 7/14/25 and did my first harvest on 8/23/25. Also SD was so fucking cool and helpful whenever I was doubting myself and helped out every way of the step. A true gem in the mycology community.
