Originally discovered in Florida, this Blue Meanie psilocybe cubensis species has been found growing next to the Blue Meanie panaeolus cyanescens species not even a foot away from each other. This cubensis species got the name Blue Meanie from growing next to the panaeolus cyanescens Blue Meanie.
